L'Ombricolo offers five handsome guest rooms, each with attached private bathroom including tub or shower. The rooms are spacious and distinctive; two at ground level, three on the floor above.

The restored stone farmhouse is filled with local antiques and treasures Dawne found during her career in film location planning and design.

Guests relax in the sprawling ground-floor sitting room, stocked with books, music, and comfortable lounge furniture. Pre-dinner aperitivi are served here (or on the pool terrace), and an "honesty bar" is always at hand.

In the enormous kitchen, fresh local produce can be turned into seasonal evening meals upon request. These feasts, as well as large buffet breakfasts daily, are served on a giant table made of wood rescued and refinished from its original role as a horse stall.

A shady vine-wrapped pergola on the south side gave the house its name. Near the north side is the chlorine-free pool with surrounding terrace and lovely views.
